Prime Minister Putin and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Russian International Olympic University Vladimir Potanin discussed the challenge of preserving parkland while developing the campus of the Olympic University, as well as its first projects. The prime minister emphasised that the academic programmes it is developing need to be competitive internationally and measure up to the demand in this market.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has reviewed the progress of Olympic facilities construction and visited Nekrasovskoye, a suburb of Sochi built for the Imereti Valley residents who had to be relocated because of the construction of 2014 Olympics facilities. He also met with Vladimir Potanin, chairman of the supervisory board of the Russian International Olympic University, and had a working lunch with members of the IOC Coordination Commission for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin meets with German President Christian Wulff

As Prime MinisterVladimir Putin said at the meeting, an increase of German investments into the Russian economy amounted to almost six billion dollars in the first half of this year. He noted that almost all major German companies are represented in the Russian market. In turn, German President Christian Wulff emphasized that Germany has high hopes for the Russian economy.
