Constitution of the Russian Federation

Executive power in the Russian Federation shall be exercised by the Government of the Russian Federation. The Government of the Russian Federation shall consist of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, deputy chairmen of the Government of the Russian Federation and federal ministers.
Federal Constitutional Law on the Government of the Russian Federation

Pursuant to section 2 of Article 114 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the procedure of the activities of the Government of the Russian Federation is determined by the Federal Constitutional Law adopted on December 30, 2008.

Russian Federation Government Regulations
The Rules of the Government of the Russian Federation were approved by Resolution #260 of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 1, 2004 and have been amended over the years. This act establishes the rules for the procedures of the Russian Federation Government in exercising its authority, the procedures for planning Government meetings, their preparation and conduct, and the procedures for drafting laws. The Rules also establish the procedures for the preparation and discussion of the acts of the Government, the formalization of the decisions taken at meetings of the Government of the Russian Federation.
