Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Federation Council Speaker Sergei Mironov discussed work on the federal budget for 2011 and the 2012-2013 planning period

Sergei Mironov who, in his words, represents not only the Federation Council but also the A Just Russia party, said at the meeting that his party colleagues were drafting “some additional proposals” for the second reading of the draft budget. The prime minister noted that he had instructed government members to work constructively with all State Duma political parties, including A Just Russia.

Apart from this, some government agencies have managed to save funds which were already allocated in some areas, such as debt management, and also through optimising work in general. In connection with this, I would ask you to draft a number of amendments to the current 2010 budget in order to resolve some urgent issues, without waiting until January."
