Prime Minister Vladimir Putin meets with Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller
Issues discussed included Gazprom’s preparations for the peak load season and the preliminary results for the outgoing year. The prime minister was also interested in the progress made with partners in the neighbouring countries, primarily Belarus, with whom Gazprom has recently signed a number of contracts.
The meeting centred on the Electronic Government project. The Deputy Prime Minister reported that its first, federal stage has already been completed and the second stage implemented at the regional and local levels is being launched. Mr Putin noted that progress has been fast and that the main goal should be to continue at the same pace.
According to the prime minster, the shipyard was going through a difficult period, but one that was generated artificially. It is time to address this situation and all related issues.
