Prime Minister Vladimir Putin meets with Viktor Zimin, Prime Minister of Republic of Khakassia
At the meeting the two leaders discussed the socio-economic situation in the Republic of Khakassia. In addition, Mr Zimin thanked Mr Putin for supporting the restoration of the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydro-electric power plant.

The Prime Minister visited the turbine room where he reviewed the progress of repair work, and attended the launching ceremony of Unit 6 that was damaged in the summer 2009 accident.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin chairs a meeting on investment in the power industry
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, on a working trip to the Siberian Federal District, attended a ceremony at the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant to re-launch Unit 6, damaged in the summer 2009 accident. The Prime Minister also chaired a meeting on investment in the electric power industry, at which the progress of the plant’s repair work was discussed.

After the national anthem was played, marking the return of the Eternal Flame to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Vladimir Putin laid flowers at the monument. The solemn ceremony concluded with a march past by soldiers from the Presidential Regiment.
