Prime Minister Vladimir Putin attends the solemn ceremony returning the Eternal Flame from Victory Park on Poklonnaya Gora to Alexandrovsky Gardens

After the national anthem was played, marking the return of the Eternal Flame to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Vladimir Putin laid flowers at the monument. The solemn ceremony concluded with a march past by soldiers from the Presidential Regiment.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Khristenko discussed one of the new measures to support the automotive industry. Under the programme, operational from March 8, car owners can use money from selling an old car for scrap to purchase a new car. Prime Minister Putin said “the process must not be cumbersome for people.”
