Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited a maternity ward and laboratories with modern diagnostic equipment and operating rooms, where among other things, in vitro fertilisation procedures are performed. After inspecting the St. Petersburg hospital, Mr Putin spoke via video link with specialists at the Mother-and-Child centres in Irkutsk, Moscow and Ufa.

“Large-scale and truly ambitious goals have been set for Russian power producers. They are expected to commission power generating facilities with a total capacity of more than 170 GW by 2030. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin meets with King Abdullah II of Jordan
Prime Minister Putin said during the meeting that Russia has many areas of cooperation with Jordan. In addition to the economy, there is also culture, education, and tourism, as well as military technical cooperation.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin meets with Andrei Krainy, head of the Federal Fisheries Agency
During the meeting, Putin and Krainy discussed the contentious issue of commercial fishing, which has been troubling amateur fishermen of late. The prime minister advised Krainy to retain the moratorium on designating areas for commercial fishing pending the adoption of a new provision to the law.
