Mr Putin and Mr Fursenko discussed the guidelines for a new programme to advance education. According to Mr Fursenko, the programme has encouraged the regions to develop independently. In addition, they discussed the fulfillment of the orders issued by the prime minister after he met with students from the Siberian University. Notably, Mr Putin and Mr Fursenko discussed support for small companies established by universities.

Vladimir Putin and Alexei Kudrin discussed the work of the government group making a list of state programmes that, as noted, is now to determine all the major aspects of Russia’s economic and social policy. The finance minister said that these programmes will make “the full workings of the government much more open.”

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin holds a meeting on handicapped accessibility

I’m referring to everything that prevents them from using transport and public services, receiving education and medical aid, pursuing a career and being in demand on the labour market, and addressing government institutions and authorities of any level without a problem.”
