During the meeting Mr Chikhanchin told the prime minister of cooperation between Rosfinmonitoring and international monitoring agencies to prevent capital laundering. The head of government was also informed of the latest financial probes in key economic sectors. About 2,000 cases have been opened based on Rosfinmonitoring data.
The Prime Minister and the federal agency head discussed the agency’s key areas of activity, including issues regarding physical training at schools, promoting healthy lifestyles among young people. Special attention was paid to a programme for preparing the young to be responsible homeowners as well as the patriotic education of young people.
During the meeting, the prime minister and the chairman of Vnesheconombank discussed the bank’s support for small and medium-sized companies, which Mr Dmitriyev described as one of the bank’s priorities. In addition, they touched on the placement of Eurobonds. Mr Dmitriyev said that the success of this measure shows that investors are becoming increasingly confident in Russia.
