Prime Minister Vladimir Putin holds a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov

In the course of the meeting, Mr Putin and Mr Shuvalov discussed the Customs Union and its work, the government’s anti-crisis measures, and Russia’s entry into the World Trade Organization. “The first meeting of the Customs Union Commission marks a completely new departure in the integration effort. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin holds a meeting with Natural Resources and Environment Minister Yuri Trutnev

The agenda of the meeting included replenishment of mineral resource base, efficiency improvement of industrial safety regulator Rostekhnadzor, environmental compliance of Sochi Olympic facilities and re-launching of the Baikal Pulp and Paper Mill. During the meeting, Vladimir Putin said he was satisfied with the first ever IAEA report on the safety status of Russian nuclear facilities confirming their full compliance with Russian and international standards.
