During the meeting, Prime Minister Putin pointed out that positive trends are emerging in the two countries’ trade and economic relations and that there are about eleven companies with Russian capital currently operating in Kyrgyzstan. “We hope that your government will create conditions that are conducive to their economic prosperity, above all for the good of Kyrgyzstan,” he said.
Vladimir Putin and Magomedsalam Magomedov discussed interethnic relations in Dagestan and across the country as a whole. As Mr Putin said, “There can be no doubt that interfaith and interethnic peace and accord are also fundamental preconditions for Russia’s very existence.”
Concluding the meeting, the prime minister said that not everything in these harsh weather conditions depends on people but everything that does depend on people should be done.
