But it is already possible to say that despite all the difficulties, the entire programme of anti-crisis measures has been implemented. I hope that we have gotten through the most intense phase of the crisis, and that economic recovery began in the second half of the year.”
I think it is clear that if we have achieved something this year, it is the result of our shared efforts and the support for our work from the President, his Executive Office and the regional authorities. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's visit to Primorye Territory
During his visit to Russia’s Far East, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin attended the startup ceremony of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline, took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for a semi-submersible offshore oil rig in Bolshoi Kamen and gave the signal for the first tanker shipment. He then toured shipyard construction projects underway in Bolshoi Kamen and Fokino that are being run jointly with South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding and Singapore’s Yantai Raffles Shipyard. He also chaired a conference on the development of the region’s shipbuilding industry and the strategy for the Far East and Baikal regions’ social and economic development. Later the prime minister met with Governor Sergei Darkin.
