This year, the government prizes for quality were awarded to Vladivostok State Institute of Economics and Services, Kazan Medical College, and the Design Institute of Organic Synthesis Production. Companies Expocentre, Norilsk Nickel, Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteorgsintez, the Tersky Diamond Instruments Company, and SpetsKhimMontage were also honoured for quality achievements.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's visit to St. Petersburg
During his trip to St Petersburg, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited low-rise Novaya Izhora development, built for military servicemen.
Commission members decided to raise import duties on live pigs and pre-packed tropical oils. Palm oil supplied in bulk for commercial processing will be imported duty-free, while coconut oil duty rate will be set at 5%.
