Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s visit to Kaliningrad Region

On an official visit to Kaliningrad, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin attended the opening ceremony for the road connecting Kaliningrad with Khrabrovo Airport. The Prime Minister also held a session of the Presidium of the Presidential Council on the Development of Local Government. Vladimir Putin visited the Yantarny sports complex in Kaliningrad and met with Georgy Boos, the Governor of the Kaliningrad Region.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s visit to St. Petersburg

During an official visit to St Petersburg, the Prime Minister visited the Turner Scientific and Research Institute for Children's Orthopaedics in the town of Pushkin. Before leaving St Petersburg, Vladimir Putin also inspected the new Tu-214 airplane.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with Marios Garoyian, President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus

“Relations between Cyprus and the Russian Federation are based on long-standing traditions and continue to develop successfully. The legal base for cooperation between our countries is being strengthened. Quite recently, on October 8, the Government of the Russian Federation approved a protocol for an intergovernmental agreement that would protect capital investment. I think that the ratification of this agreement by both countries will make our economic cooperation even more transparent.”
