Following a discussion, Commission members decided to keep import quotas on beef, pork and poultry meat in 2010-2012 and agreed on the distribution of quotas.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin arrived in the People’s Republic of China for an official visit. During his visit, he will participate in a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of Government.
The meeting focused on pertinent issues for the two countries’ commercial and economic relationship, including on progress in carrying out the decisions made at the latest session of the Russian-Canadian Intergovernmental Economic Commission (IEC), held on June 22 and 23.
