Seventy-two border posts, seven border offices, housing and social amenities have been built there from scratch. The Government delegation visited the Verkhnechonskoye and Talakanskoye oil and gas condensate deposits, and attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a school in Vitim.
According to the First Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of Transport jointly with the Governments of Moscow and the Moscow Region have prepared a programme for the development of the transport infrastructure in Moscow and the region until 2015.
“In addition to significant state investments, we also expect to see considerable contributions from private investment. The Russian nuclear power industry is now open for interaction, both with Russian businesses and with foreign capital,” he said.

The two sides noted the positive trends and progressive development of trade and economic relations between the two countries naming the Intergovernmental Economic Commission and the Russian-Canadian Business Council as its main instruments.
"The key task of the government bodies is to create the necessary conditions for the development of the domestic agriculture that can compete with imported goods in terms of price and quality," Mr Zubkov said. "We must tackle these problems so that Russia could become - and it will become - a real food exporter after 2012."
