The Commission also discussed measures to reduce the rate of injuries on Russia's roads, in particular in the Moscow transport hub, the First Deputy Prime Minister said. The First Deputy Prime Minister also said that "decisions have been made to create an educational standard for driving schools". He added that the standards would be considered at the autumn session of the Government Commission. According to Igor Shuvalov, the participants in today's meeting also called for a review of the system of driver attestation. It would be a success if we consistently reduce the rate of injuries and deaths on the roads over three to five years, Mr Shuvalov said. He added that safety on the Russian roads will be the priority of the Government Commission.
