Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s visit to Mongolia

During his visit to Mongolia, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will take part in Russian-Mongolian talks and meet with Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar, Prime Minister Sanjaagiin Bayar and Speaker of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Damdiny Demberel. The visit’s schedule also includes attending a farming equipment exhibition, visiting the Holy Trinity Church of the Russian Orthodox Church’s Moscow Patriarchate, as well as attending the ceremony for the start of the ‘Along the Great Silk Road’ international scientific expedition and a flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s visit to Japan

During his official visit to Japan, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin attended a Conference of Russian and Japanese Governors, met with former Japanese Prime Minister and member of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Diet Yoshiro Mori and former Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. Mr Putin also spoke at a working breakfast with representatives of the Japanese business community. In addition, Prime Minister Putin addressed the Russian-Japanese business forum and met with Ichiro Ozawa, President of the Democratic Party of Japan and member of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Diet. Prime Minister also took part in talks with his Japanese counterpart Taro Aso which resulted in the signing of a series of bilateral agreements and their joint press conference. Vladimir Putin also took part in the presentation of the Japanese edition of the book “Let's Learn Judo with Vladimir Putin”.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s visit to Khabarovsk Territory

During his visit to Khabarovsk Territory Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited the Yury Gagarin Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association (KNAAPO) and the Amur Shipbuilding Plant. Prime Minister also chaired a meeting on the development of the shipbuilding industry in the Russian Far East, met with Sergei Khokhlov, the General Director of Sibirsko-Amurskaya Stal, a management company of the Amurmetall Group, and the Governor of Khabarovsk region Vyacheslav Shport as well as Governor of Primorye Territory Sergei Darkin.

"The national interests of Japan and Russia coincide on many issues, but more importantly, there will be more and more shared interests in the short, medium and especially in the long term perspective. Proceeding from these considerations we should do everything to eliminate any irritants in our bilateral ties."
