According to the Presidential Decree of May 12, 2008 On the System and Structure of Federal Executive Power Bodies, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation on Activities of the Russian Transportation Ministry to introduce corresponding amendments to previous resolutions by the Government of the Russian Federation.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s visit to France
During the second day of the visit to France Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with former French President Jacques Chirac and with author Maurice Druon as well as visited the Museum of His Majesty’s Cossack Regiment of the Guards.
The First Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the idea of creating an international financial centre in Russia was first proposed by President Putin in February 2008.
