Mr Zhukov said that “on the whole, the results of the implementation of the Education Project are positive.” He noted that “the salaries of employees in education have risen considerably – from 50% to 100%.”
The social problems of the Chechen Republic and its cooperation with the Finance Ministry were discussed during the meeting.
"We need to ensure law and order is maintained in North Ossetia concerning the influx and accommodation of refugees. People, who arrive in North Ossetia, need to feel safe. And certainly the above should also apply to local people, who live there permanently."
Addressing the Council meeting, which discussed the Strategy of the Development of the Forestry Complex in the Period Until 2020, Mr Zubkov noted that the implementation of the strategy would see the production of timber and paper increase by 4.3 times, tax revenues by 5 times, labour productivity by 4.9 times, while the degree of timber conversion would increase from 49% to 78%.
