May 2000: founded and became the leader of Walking Together, a national youth movement.
April 2005: appointed federal commissioner of the Nashi (Ours) youth movement.
2007: appointed chairman of the State Committee for Youth Affairs.
July 6, 2008: appointed head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
Married, with two children.
