1998: RAO UES of Russia board member and head of investment policy department.
1999: RAO UES of Russia deputy chairman of the board.
2004: Appointed RAO UES of Russia board member and managing director of Business Unit No. 1 following a structural reform of RAO UES of Russia.
2005-2008: Kuzbassrazrezugol general director.
2006-2012: Chairman of the board of RU-COM.
January-May 2012: Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.
May 21, 2012: Appointed Minister of the Russian Federation.
Married, with two sons and a daughter.
