A number of documents have been signed following the talks between Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and his Vietnamese counterpart

A number of documents have been signed following the talks between Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and his Vietnamese counterpart.

Following their talks, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung signed a Memorandum.

Also, a number of documents have been signed in the presence of Mr. Putin and Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, including the following:

An agreement on strategic partnership between the Russian company Gazprom and the Vietnamese oil and gas group Petrovietnam.

A treaty establishing the joint venture Gazpromviet.

A supplement to the oil and gas contract pertaining to block 112 off the coast of Vietnam, extending the contract to blocks 111/04 and 113.

A memorandum of understanding for energy cooperation between the Russian company Inter RAO UES and the Vietnamese oil and gas group Petrovietnam.

A memorandum of understanding between the Russian state-owned corporation Rosatom and the Vietnamese state-owned corporation Electricity of Vietnam Corporation (EVN) on cooperation in constructing Vietnam's first nuclear power plant.

A memorandum of understanding for launching a joint Russian-Vietnamese investment fund.

A contract between the Russian state-owned arms exporting company Rosoboronexport and the General Import and Export Vanxuan Corporation (VAXUCO), which operates under the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence, on the delivery of special equipment.

A contract between the Russian state-owned arms exporting company Rosoboronexport and the General Import and Export Vanxuan Corporation (VAXUCO) on rendering technical assistance.

A protocol of cooperation between Russia's Ministry of Economic Development and Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade.
