Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with writer Valentin Rasputin, who works and resides in the city of Irkutsk
During their talk, Mr Putin and Mr Rasputin, an avid environmentalist and researcher of Lake Baikal, discussed the lake's environmental issues previously mentioned at a meeting on environmental protection at the village of Listvyanka.
