During his visit to the Kemerovo Region, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited a new carriage maintenance depot.

Mr Medvedev saw a new goods van with improved characteristics for the carrying load, service interval mileage and trucks.

The top managers of the enterprise discussed with Mr Medvedev issues such as the advisability of introducing a carriage recycling tax, indexing tariffs for more modern equipment, and increasing the carriage carrying load.

Mr Medvedev also gave instructions to Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, who accompanied him on the visit, to discuss these issues with his colleagues and to think about solutions.
