Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approves amendments to the list of state programmes of the Russian Federation, which was approved by Government Directive No 1950-r dated 11 November 2010
The Directive was drafted by the Ministry of Economic Development in accordance with the relevant procedure for drafting and implementing state programmes of the Russian Federation and assessing their effectiveness, which was approved by Government Resolution No 588 dated 2 August 2010.
The need for this document is motivated by the latest changes in the powers of some ministries and departments and by the re-subordination of some services and agencies in line with Presidential Executive Order No 636 “On the Structure of federal executive bodies” dated 21 May 2012, by the approval of statutes of newly-established federal executive bodies, as well as by changes in the status of the co-executor of and participant in the state programme of the Russian Federation in line with Government Resolution No 499 “On amending the procedure for drafting and implementing state programmes of the Russian Federation and assessing their effectiveness” dated 21 May 2012.
In addition, these draft federal targeted programmes have been included in the guidelines for implementing state programmes of the Russian Federation in connection with Government decisions to draft specific federal targeted programmes. At the same time, some federal targeted programmes have been omitted from the above-mentioned guidelines due to their termination in 2012.
The main aspects of implementing state programmes of the Russian Federation will be prioritised as a result of amendments to the list. The titles of some state programmes of the Russian Federation, as well as the list of executors and co-executors of state programmes of the Russian Federation, will be specified.
The implementation of the Directive will not require any additional federal expenditure.
