Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visits the pavilions of the IX International Investment Forum in Sochi during his working trip to the Krasnodar Territory

Participants:

The first pavilion the prime minister visited was Sberbank's mobile consultation centre, which uses modern technology and equipment to help clients start or develop a small business.

One of the services offered by the bank is the leasing of special purpose vehicles. Vladimir Putin inspected one of such vehicles, a mobile bakery, whose owner offered the prime minister a freshly baked croissant. "That is so good, what a tasty, fresh croissant," the prime minister said. "I wish I could stay here longer."

He also looked into a mobile car tyre fitting shop and a mobile footwear repair outlet. The prime minister inspected their equipment and handed over the keys and certificates to the businesspeople who have leased it.

Many Russian regions presented their investment potential at the Sochi forum.

For example, the Krasnoyarsk Territory presented a plan to establish a winter sports academy for Siberian athletes, which is to be commissioned by 2013.

Adygeya presented an idea of a mountain ski resort, while Ingushetia proposed building a health resort at the Achaluki hot springs and a cascade of small hydropower plants on the Assa River with a total capacity of 7 MW.

Chechnya has brought to Sochi a project to build a sports centre and a hotel complete with infrastructure, while Dagestan is presenting livestock farming projects.
