Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visits the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) in Zhukovsky near Moscow

At a meeting with employees of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TSAGI) in Zhukovsky, the prime minister reported that from January to May of 2010 industrial production had grown by 10.3% as compared to the same period in 2009, and that unemployment had fallen by 14.4%, or almost one million people. “We have started to come out of the downturn,” Vladimir Putin said.
