The Federal Agency for Sea and Inland Water Transport (Rosmorrechflot) is a federal executive body responsible for providing government services and managing government property in this sphere, such as sea ports (except for terminals intended to service fishing ships and boats). It also is in charge of providing services to ensure water transport safety. The agency is authorised to fulfil Russia’s international obligations with respect to the implementation of government policy, the provision of government services, and the management of government property in the sphere of sea and inland water transport.
