The Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Rosgidromet) is a federal executive body responsible for managing government property and providing government services in  hydrometeorology and related areas, monitoring the environment and environmental pollution, and exercising government oversight of activities influencing hydrometeorological and other geophysical processes.
