After post-graduate studies headed a number of tourist companies in St Petersburg.

2005–2007: Department head, deputy head of a directorate at the Federal Agency for Tourism.

2008–2009: Deputy head, head of the international cooperation directorate at the Federal Agency for Tourism.

2009–2011: Deputy head, Federal Agency for Tourism.

2011 (June 20): Appointed head of the Federal Agency for Tourism.
