Lomonosov Moscow State University

Lomonosov Moscow State University was founded on January 25, 1755 by a decree of Russian Empress Elizabeth. In accordance with Presidential Executive Order No.48 of January 24, 1992, On Lomonosov Moscow State University, the university received the status of a self-governing federal higher educational institution operating in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation and its charter.

Moscow University is a federal state educational institution of higher professional training engaged in educational, research and cultural activities in the sphere of higher, postgraduate, continuing professional and pre-university education in a wide range of natural sciences and the humanities.
