Chairman of the State Border Commission

The Commission is a coordinating body facilitating purposeful joint activity of federal bodies of executive power, state power bodies of the Russian Federation, local self-government bodies, organisations and public associations during the formulation and implementation of the Russian Federation's border policy. 

The Commission has the following responsibility:

  • to create favourable conditions for formulating the Russian Federation's border policy and facilitating its implementation in the state's foreign policy, economic, military, social, financial and other activitiesState Border Commission
