First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov held a meeting of the economic integration subcommittee of the government’s Commission on Economic Development and Integration
Participants in the meeting discussed Russia's CIS presidency and Russia's efforts in 2010-2011 to form a common economic space of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
In addition, they reviewed issues regarding the introduction of the Customs Code of the Customs Union between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan on July 1, 2010.
They adopted a plan of action on the said issues and endorsed the schedule for the subcommittee's meetings in the first half of 2010.
