Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and French Prime Minister Francois Fillon signed the summary document for the 14th session of the Russian-French Commission on Bilateral Cooperation at the level of prime ministers, well as a statement on holding a Year of Russia in France and a Year of France in Russia.

In addition, Mr Putin and Mr Fillon attended the signing of the following bilateral documents:

• Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the French Republic on the temporary employment of citizens of one country in the other;

• Memorandum of Understanding and exchange of information agreement between the Russian Federal Financial Markets Service and the French Financial Markets Regulator;

• Contract of sale between TNK-BP and the BNP Paribas bank on carbon credits;

• Contract of sale for an investment share in the Agreement on Development and Oil Extraction at the Kharyaga field on Production-Sharing Terms in the Russian Federation;

• Memorandum of the principal terms between Dalkia, TGK-4 and ONEXIM Group on establishing a thermal energy trading joint venture;

• Agreement of intent to restructure AvtoVAZ between Renault S.A.S., the state corporation Russian Technology, AvtoVAZ and Troika Dialog Investments Limited;

• Memorandum of Understanding between Gazprom and Electricite de France;

• Cooperation agreement between INTER RAO UES and Electricite de France;

• Memorandum of Understanding between Vnesheconombank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank, the French Export Credit Agency (COFACE) and Severo-Zapadnaya Kontsessionnaya Kompaniya (Northwest Concession Company) on building a Moscow-St Petersburg highway;

• Memorandum of Understanding between Prominvest and Sanofi Aventis;

• Memorandum of partnership and cooperation between the state corporation Russian Technology and Thales Group;

• Agreement on establishing a joint venture between Rossiyskaya Korporatsiya Sredstv Svyazi (Russian Communications Corporation) and Alcatel-Lucent;

• Memorandum of partnership and cooperation between the state corporation Russian Technology and Safran S.A.;

• Agreement between Novatek and Total on establishing a joint venture to develop the Termokarstovoye gas condensate field.
