More than 15 agreements have been drafted for the upcoming visit by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to Turkey, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin said in Ankara, following the meeting of the mixed Russian-Turkish inter-governmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. Mr Sechin is on a working trip to Turkey.

More than 15 agreements have been drafted for the upcoming visit by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to Turkey, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin said in Ankara, following the meeting of the mixed Russian-Turkish inter-governmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. Mr Sechin is on a working trip to Turkey.

"The spectrum of our cooperation is very wide. One can speak of a strategic partnership between our two countries. Our cooperation covers oil and gas, power generation, tourism, joint use of space for peaceful purposes, agriculture, joint production of mineral fertilisers, education and science," Mr Sechin said. He noted that agreements were prepared in these fields and could be signed during the August 6 visit by Mr Putin to Ankara, depending on the Prime Minister's decision.
