Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov chaired a meeting of the Government Military-Industrial Commission

The Federal Space Agency gave a report on the former issue. Senior executives of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Industry and Trade and state corporation Rosatom participated.

Following the meeting, the Military-Industrial Commission outlined a package of measures to address the scientific, technical and organisational problems in providing the rocket and space industry with electronic components capable of withstanding conditions in space.

The Military-Industrial Commission approved the candidates for chief designers proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Federal Space Agency.
