According to Dr Achba, the chief physician at the maternity hospital, a young woman gave birth to twin boys literally two minutes before the Prime Minister's arrival. The two boys were named Vladimir and Dmitry "by unanimous decision of the hospital staff." 

Vladimir Putin reacted to the choice of names with a smile, saying "Well all right, but let the parents decide."
