At a meeting on July 7, 2008, the Presidium of the Government of the Russian Federation made the following decisions on the issues discussed:
1. On the draft federal law On Introducing an Amendment to Article 11 of the Federal Law On Mandatory Pension Insurance in the Russian Federation
The Presidium of the Government of the Russian Federation has approved the draft federal law On Introducing an Amendment to Article 11 of the Federal Law On Mandatory Pension Insurance in the Russian Federation and decided to submit it to the State Duma under established procedure.
2. On the draft federal law On Introducing Amendments to Articles 40 and 151 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation
Following a discussion, the Presidium of the Government of the Russian Federation has approved the draft federal law On Introducing Amendments to Articles 40 and 151 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation and decided to submit it to the State Duma under established procedure.
The Justice Ministry and the Finance Ministry have been instructed to work further on the financial and economic feasibility of the draft law, notably, to determine the potential budgetary expenses of its implementation and submit relevant proposals to the Government of the Russian Federation under established procedure within a week.
3. On the draft federal law On Introducing an Amendment to Article 4 of the Federal Law On State Control of International Road Haulage and Liability for Violating the Rules Thereof
The meeting approved the draft federal law On Introducing an Amendment to Article 4 of the Federal Law On State Control of International Road Haulage and Liability for Violating the Rules Thereof and decided to submit it to the State Duma under established procedure.
4. On introducing amendments to some acts of the Government of the Russian Federation on the activities of the Federal Service for the Oversight of Education and Science
The meeting adopted a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the above issue.
5. On introducing amendments to some decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation on currency regulation
The meeting adopted a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the above issue.
6. On submitting to the President of the Russian Federation a proposal to sign the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
The meeting passed a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the above issue.
7. On submitting to the President of the Russian Federation a proposal to sign an agreement with the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan to establish a Central Asian Regional Information Coordinating Centre to Combat Trafficking in Narcotics, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors.
The meeting adopted a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the above issue.
