Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar

Participants:

Vladimir Putin: Mr President, I recall with pleasure our last meeting at Davos.

As you see, we are implementing everything we have agreed in all spheres of our cooperation, above all in the economy as well as in military cooperation and cultural ties.

I would like to thank you for devoting so much time to the development of Russian-Mongolian relations. This explains why you were awarded the Pushkin Medal for stimulating the development of the Russian language in Mongolia.

During our talks with the Mongolian Prime Minister today, we have agreed on a number of crucial elements of our economic cooperation, in particular the development of the Ulan Bator Railway, creation of new transport assets, as well as mining and nuclear power (uranium). We have also discussed them.

We are making progress in all of these areas, and I would like to say that the Russian delegation is pleased with the results of our work today.
