Vladimir Putin visited Avtodizel Joint Stock Company during his trip to the Yaroslavl Region

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited the assembly shop, where diesel engines for different types of vehicles are put together, and familiarised himself with the production process.
Mr Putin was shown different engines, including those which are installed on military carrier vehicles, and sports trucks of the KamAz-Master Team.
In addition, the Prime Minister was shown Euro-3 sample engines, and the latest ones, Euro-4 standard. Its designers said that the latter is of equal quality as Western counterparts but cheaper.
Mr Putin was also told about the plans to produce unified one-type diesel engines for military needs. He visited a research laboratory for testing the quality of the engines.
