Participants in the meeting discussed a draft government resolution endorsing the distribution of subsidies from the federal budget to the budgets of the regions to co-finance the cost of implementing the federal targeted programme on social development of rural areas to 2013.

The draft distributes budget allocations to the regions to co-finance the programme's measures aimed at improving living standards of rural residents, including young families and young professionals, developing social and utility infrastructure, and supporting compact development of rural settlements.

All concerned ministries approved the draft resolution at the meeting.
