Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited a Bedouin tent of Muammar Qaddafi, the Leader of the Libyan Revolution

French singer Mireille Mathieu, whose concert in Moscow Mr Putin and Mr Qaddafi had visited earlier this evening, came to the tent with them.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited a Bedouin tent of Muammar Qaddafi, the Leader of the Libyan Revolution, pitched in the Kremlin's Tainitsky Garden for his visit to Russia. 

French singer Mireille Mathieu, whose concert in Moscow Mr Putin and Mr Qaddafi had visited earlier this evening, came to the tent with them.

The Libyan leader said he was glad to entertain such esteemed guests in his tent in Moscow. "I am especially glad that we are meeting in my Bedouin tent in the Kremlin, the heart of the Russian capital," he added.

After the talk with Mr Qaddafi, Mr Putin offered the icon singer a lift in his car. He asked her to give his best wishes to her mother, who will be 87 this year and who is accompanying her to Russia.
