Mr Putin talked to the icon singer at tea table during the break, and thanked her for coming to Russia. "Russians love you," he said as he emphasised unique Russian-French cultural ties. 

Mireille Mathieu also highlighted the cultural traditions shared by the two countries, and thanked the Prime Minister for his attention.
