On 30 January 2013, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission introduced amendments to the Customs Union’s technical regulations on the safety of wheeled vehicles, which starting in 2015 will have to be equipped with devices linked to the emergency response system. The amendments stipulate the procedures for providing emergency services with the aid of the automobile response system and establish serious requirements on them. This will facilitate the formation of  national emergency response systems for traffic accidents in Customs Union member states and the start of mass production of these devices.
