Dmitry Medvedev visits Russia’s stand at the 22nd Havana International Book Fair

During a tour of the book fair, the Prime Minister spoke with Russian writers Anastasia Orlova, Sergei Chuprinin and Yevgeny Popov.

In Russia’s pavilion, Dmitry Medvedev viewed an improvised display of children’s drawings which reflect Cuban children’s idea of Russia. The Prime Minister also talked to the children who won the contests I Draw Russia and I Read Russia.

Little Carla recited in Spanish a piece from Alexander Pushkin’s Tale of Tsar Saltan for the Russian Prime Minister. He invited the girls and the other children to visit Russia. 

Dmitry Medvedev also saw a photo exhibition dedicated to Fidel Castro’s first visit to the Soviet Union.
