Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich visits the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences

During his visit to the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich familiarised himself with its current studies and contemporary global trends in biotechnology.

Accompanied by the institute's Director Vadim Ivanov and his Deputy Yevgeny Grishin, Mr Dvorkovich visited laboratories of biocatalysis, biomolecular NMR spectroscopy and biopharmaceutics, as well as the laboratories of Skolkovo resident Pharma Bio, which presented innovative developments that have successfully passed the stage of commercialisation.

A number of proposals have been made as a result of the visit. They will be discussed in detail by the working group on developing biotechnology, which is headed by Mr Dvorkovich.
