During the meeting, which took place at the Government House Situation Centre, Dmitry Rogozin said that the state defence order is designed to boost the development of the Russian economy. To that end, a series of measures will be implemented. In particular, an automated system for placing and monitoring the defence order will be created, while technological growth will be achieved through significant investment. “We are starting work on a new system of monetary and fiscal policy for the country and staring to use "long-term money." This is extremely important, because we are working on the development of complex technologies, which will take five to seven years to implement. It is clear that this will help the country begin planning a long-term fiscal policy for years to come,” Rogozin said.

Summing up the results of the implementation of the state defence order in 2012, Rogozin said that the Ministry of Defence had carried out 99% of the orders.
