Dmitry Medvedev visits Lefortovo Integrated Government Service Centre

Upon his arrival, Dmitry Medvedev got a reception slip and proceeded to the operations hall, which has several dozen counters for providing government services.

Dmitry Medvedev talked to the visitors and employees of the operations hall and then approached one of the counters to check his outstanding taxes. Virtually two minutes later the IGSC clerk gave him a statement, which read that he had none.

The Integrated Government Service Centre of the Lefortovo district was launched on 23 August 2011. Since it was opened, the centre has rendered 376,000 government services.

The IGSC offers 227 types of services on behalf of 13 city and 6 federal executive agencies including:

42 services by the federal executive bodies (property title registration, social policy, migration and tax accounting);

185 services by Moscow executive bodies (social and housing policy, registration of the applicants’ civil and legal status, technical records etc.)

The IGSC receives about 1,000 customers every day and provides over 4,000 services each week. There are 46 counters staffed with 87 employees. The entrance to the centre is equipped with a ramp for people with restricted mobility. The Lefortovo IGSC also offers copying services and has payment terminals and cash points.
