Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has ordered the creation of a commission to investigate the causes of the Tu-204 accident at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport.

Mr Medvedev listened to reports on the accident by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich; Head of the Emergencies Ministry Vladimir Puchkov; and Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov. On Mr Medvedev’s instructions Mr Sokolov immediately left for the site of the accident to lead the work of the commission. In addition, Mr Medvedev instructed Minister of Healthcare Veronika Skvortsova to do everything possible to help the injured.
